Gastro Mare is along the west shore in Kobaš. Infront of the Restaurant there are 11 moorings – 3 meter (9 feet) water depth. You can reach Gastro Mare directly by a boat or if you go by a car you have to follow the route to Ston and Broce and after Broce there is a road to Kobaš.
Over 30 years ago when Ante Bjelančić Bjelko ventured from his birth village Kobaš into the world looking for success and the opportunity to establish himself as a great chef, the tightness of the bonds he had with that rustic part of Peljesac was unbeknown to him. After years spent working in America, short return to Dubrovnik followed by sailing on board various cruisers across the Mediterranean he settled in Norway where he reached the peak of his culinary expertise while running one of the best Scandinavian gourmet restaurants. Despite everything the world had to offer, Toni found his peace in his beloved Kobaš where he can be seen today in his small yet enchanting restaurant Gastro Mare lovingly combining the culinary knowledge of his adult life with his boyhood memories into memorable, new, and vivid food experiences.
